SocialEats was cooked up by Ben Marcus, a professional in technology, with a passion for delicious foods. Ben is a guy who is lucky enough to fall in love several times - with his wife, daughter, and now his pastries.

His first encounter with a canelé was a world changing experience. When the bakery that made them closed, it was a call to duty, at that point he was determined to recreate the delicious experience of that first bite. Canelés became his calling, and he is happy to share.

Though weeks of experimentation with the best ingredients, consultations with experts from the Daniel Boulud organization, and a pure love of this pastry, Ben has created the best, most delicious canele pastries you can find ouside of France.
